Yes, shame the packages are bit less than BT.  On existing plan, i was told price was all £50+ cheapest packages – crazy hen the website shows £29.99 for the full fibre 100 – how they justify that I have no idea so I’ve switched and no doubt BT will be being informed sometime this week. I’m half expecting them to call or email with some “offer to stay” etc but will see.

I’m hoping as plusnet is part of BT, the connection remains as good as BT’s as I have to say I don’t think mine has ever gone down (Touch wood), always been on and working, no issues at all. Speed has stayed around the 150 speed, i think lowest speed has still been above 140 and the upload speed is always around 30 so can’t complain on that front, setup etc seems stable so as I expect plusnet uses BT infrastructure, I suspect it could well be just an account change and no actual physical work required i.e disconnect from BT and patch to plusnet, it might all be the same.. will wait and see.

Perhaps BT want to offload all broadband etc to plusnet and reduce there overheads? Maybe that’s the master plan?
