Yes, I saw this the other day. However, it seems you wont get a “refund” or cash payment, instead they will reduce there bills but there is no details yet of by how much or when this will happen or if you will actually see any indication on your bill of a deduction.
Thames water I believe was the worst (over 100m), as opposed to one other company did extremely well and made ÂŁ88m so they will be putting prices up.
For myself, I used to get a bill every 6 months, then it suddenly changed to yearly so I only get a bill in Oct so its due soon. What’s daft is they say we expect you to use x next year and it will cost you ÂŁy, then after that they increases the prices and I always end up wing them money as they then don’t adjust the monthly payment to take into account the increased charge so I now go in an increase it (based on a guess) and hope I don’t have a large bill. Last year I owed them ÂŁ15, which personally i hate owing anyone money so i made an immediate payment to clear it and effectively it reduced my DD by a very small amount but at least it was paid and I was up to date. I know they not fussed as they just incorporate it into the monthly payment but just not keen personally, like to be all squared away.
