Hi,

Great news, thanks for asking and the advise.  Yes, I was leaning more towards the M2D20 card as it is the newer version so should be supported for longer and like everything, they always improve things.

Yes, I was expecting it to remain in on the SSD but as they call it a cache, I figured it would of been lost.  Still trying to find out how often it writes its data from Cache to HDD can’t determine if its instant or every x period of time.

Will keep looking.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Had my eye on a new NVMe drive today – saw a good deal on amazon prime day for one I was after BUT having checked my case, I have discovered a issue…. the 2nd on-board nvme slot is literally right underneath my gfx card…. and I’m not sure I have enough room to fit the NVMe card and heatsink……

Started looking at a cheap possible PCIe NVMe card to place in my remaining x16 PCIe slot BUT then I saw some cards need bifurication which my MB doesn’t support so decided to shelve the idea till a later date.
