I am surprised, I was using BT IPv6 last year before I switched to Plusnet and my ASUS RT-AC86U worked well with IPv6 for both 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi channels including guest wifi.

if you have time over the next couple of days, I think it might be worth examining how you are setup and configuration etc. especially as you have a couple of XT8 I believe
