Welcome, as this update includes several security improvements, I would suggest an upgrade is advisable.
I have not seen any negative feedback regarding this new firmware release for the ASUS XT8.
remember to take a backup of your current configuration before you upgrade, just incase this new XT8 firmware release proves to be unstable and you have to revert back
