Reading the comments about the guarantee made me double check I’d registered my pair of BQ16s. Fortunately I have; unfortunately it says ‘Warranty Expired’ on my account. I’ve sent them an enquiry.
In other news, I’ve been really pleased with the setup. I previously had an AX11000 with a pair of XT8s as nodes which worked flawlessly but I changed my ISP from BT to Zen to take advantage of the 1.6 gig service, so needed a new router/mesh setup. Originally I planned to get a BE98 with a BQ16 as a node but changed my mind when I found a reasonable deal on the pair of BQ16s. Set up was straight forward enough; I’ve got a Sky Q and 4 mini boxes plus several Sonos speakers and had read that others had problems with these, so was pleasantly surprised that every thing works well. In fact, I only need the 2 BQ16s for full house coverage and the garden too.
Just need to get the guarantee reinstated…
