It really is bizarre that the warranty conditions are different just because an item was purchased from Amazon.
I’m going to rely on the last email from Asus that confirms it’s a 3 year guarantee and, if necessary, to contact them if I need a repair and Amazon don’t play ball.
Nothing about this arrangement seems to be of any benefit to consumers, including the fact that Asus made no effort to tell us that they’d effectively terminated the warranty.
Just very weird all round and tbh very disappointed with Asus.
