I remember back in May 2018 (I checked my old correspondence), I had the same conversation with ASUS asking them to change ADMINISTRATION > DSL Setting > Annex Mode should be renamed to Regional Mode as per the DSL-AC51
ASUS did agree to this for the DSl-AC88U at the time.
