Well I enabled telnet with http://192.168.1.1/debug.htm
Unfortunately adslctl info –stats not working just typed in telnet, I believe some some kind of access route is needed like in this example:
”
Open the telnet shell.
Issue the following commands
cd /opt/lantiq/bin press enter
Downstream
“./dsl_cpe_pipe.sh g997lsg 1 1″ – copy and paste everything between the ” ” marks – press enter
Upstream
“./dsl_cpe_pipe.sh g997lsg 0 1″ – copy and paste everything between the ” ” marks – press enter
The ATTNDR=XXXXX will be your speed in Bits divide X / 1024 / 1024 = Mbits
EG – 71797596 / 1024 / 1024 = 68.4Mbits”
And this is as far I found. It looks like bit more is needed to get full stats like on Vigor not to mention to adjust snr….
I don’t think I will have that much time to play with. Ideally I just need modem with possibly recent lantiq chipset (slightly newer than on eci modem) and easy access to telnet with possibility to view stats and adjust snr ( I do -0.8 db on downstream on mine to get full sync speed). Poor Eci modem is still on duty but God knows for how long it will be able to serve me ![]()
Netgear dm200 its just one of my spare ones which I decide to play with until my another hobby call me in ![]()
