boot loops on some Samsung BD-JM57C Blu-Ray players sounds interesting, and thanks for sharing.

I noticed this also on Facebook and confirms that a software update is  the root cause of  the BD-JM57C Blu-Ray players keeps cycling on/off whenever plugged in, so much for automatic updates which can be sometimes be more trouble than they are worth
