Also There is another option called Access Point, I cannot recall if the DSL-AC68U will support Access Point mode ?
Have a look on your DSL-AC68U > Administration > Operation Mode and see if Access Point is available ?
Alternatively, there is a third party developer @GNUton, that has produced a Firmware that will support AP for DSL-AC68U
