Apple has officially introduced the iPhone 17e, a lower‑cost addition to the iPhone 17 lineup that brings several premium features to a more accessible price point. The device launches at $599/£599 and notably doubles the base storage to 256GB, matching last year’s price while offering significantly more value.
A More Capable Entry-Level iPhone
The iPhone 17e is powered by Apple’s new A19 chip, delivering faster performance and improved efficiency across everyday tasks and gaming. It also includes MagSafe support for the first time in the “e” series, opening the door to Apple’s full ecosystem of magnetic accessories.
Camera and Display Enhancements
Apple has equipped the phone with a 48MP Fusion camera, capable of next‑generation portraits and 4K Dolby Vision video recording. The device features a 6.1‑inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, maintaining a familiar form factor while boosting visual clarity.
