DSL-AC68U New Firmware 22.214.171.124.386.37589
So ASUS have let me know that they are looking at possible issues with the latest firmware from the DSL-AC68U – DSL-AC68U New Firmware 126.96.36.199.386.37589
In particular, Ethernet concern, mostly high packet loss with Ethernet and Ethernet not working generally (wifi is fine)
In the meantime, for users affected by this issue I would suggest to downgrade to earlier version 188.8.131.52.384_81981.
I have asked if ASUS should pull this release from the download servers and will update if I get a response / fix etc.

Ok, so I have heard back from ASUS today and they are pulling Firmware 184.108.40.206.386.37589 after the recent concerns with ethernet / LAN ports connections not working after upgrade.
After evaluation, we decided to revert back to earlier stable official release v220.127.116.11.384_81981. Later v18.104.22.168.386_37589 will be removed from support site.
Downgrade I believe can either be achieved via routers UI, router app or manually

ASUS have found the cause and workaround to above ethernet problem for the DSL-AC68U:
Root cause found, issue occurs when Guest Network enabled, which leads to problem.
For user with such problem, if firmware already auto downgraded, then no issue. If not yet, then disable Guest Network > reboot, system would recover.

Have you tried a factory reset and configure from scratch (not backup) as sometimes the older DSL-AC68U can be troublesome
If after you have factory reset with firmware 220.127.116.11.386_38832 and problem remains, I will speak with ASUS 😉
Você já tentou uma redefinição e configuração de fábrica do zero (não de backup), pois às vezes o DSL-AC68U mais antigo pode ser problemático
Se após a redefinição de fábrica com o firmware 18.104.22.168.386_38832 e o problema persistir, falarei com a ASUS 😉
