Hello there. I have been trying to compile the GPL code on the Asus site to the DSL-N14U modem for months.
Download Link For Latest GPL code: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/DSL-N14U/GPL_DSL-N14U_1123617.zip
The code doesn’t compile even though I match README.txt.
I hope someone can help. Error detail link is below:

I remember also from few years back other users having issues with DSL-N14U, alas this forums does not have many coders/compilers etc. maybe worth looking at https://www.snbforums.com to see if they can advise ;-)
Given the DSL-N14U is a Ralink (MediaTeK) based router, maybe best to start with a Broadcom based device as there maybe others that can advise better / more experience on SNBForums etc.

Thank you for your reply. ASUS Customer service did not understand anything from the error code I gave (as usual).
Is there any way to ask ASUS’s authorized people about this? As far as I can see, the GPL code is missing or presented incorrectly.
I’d be very happy if you could help me with that. Have a nice day!

Ask GNUton from snb-forum, he wrote there that he wants to build Merlin-fork on those older DSL-models: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asus-dsl-n16-looking-for-testers.57423/
