So my Sons friends ford fiesta Mk7 (2010) Petrol failed its MoT due to the following reason.
Exhaust Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (8.2.1.2 (c))
Seems initially, the MoT station did not pick up that there was a hole in the exhaust and instead performed diagnostics, when they eventually identified and resolved, the ‘Exhaust Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (8.2.1.2 (c))’ fault. ‘ by replacing exhaust part which had hole in it’, the error message was gone.
Handy Tip: Exhaust Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (8.2.1.2 (c)) could mean leak in exhaust.
