I used to own one of these when I was in my Teens, mine was the 2.8 Injection which was a beast of a car and it was like sitting on the floor, so low it was.
New Capri is name only, totally different vehicle and now its an SUV and Electric.

I was a Ford chap when I was a lot younger, I had the Cortina, Capri, Sierra Sapphire Cosworth and Mondeo ST24, great life that was when cars and insurance seemed cheaper, looking back

Yes, I’ve had Ford Fiesta’s, Ford Focus’s in the past. Parents have Cortina (saloon & estate), Orion, Fiesta, Focus. Yes, insurance certainly not cheap, getting a bit silly some of these prices now, along with price of cars, seems they are trying to stop people owning a car and running it now, but they haven’t thought about the impact if people do stop when they get less money in.
