Incase others have not seen the below thread on Engadget.com, they have published a report from Kaspersky identifying malware has been distributed to more than half a million ASUS windows computers via an compromised update server.

I have spoken with the ASUS (Wifi) Team and this attack does not effect wifi (router) products, as they use different servers and authentication/verification methods.
I have also asked ASUS wifi team that any lessons learnt are quickly applied to the wifi (router) distribution servers A.S.A.P.
