Apple may be planning a big change for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Recent leaks suggest the popular Dynamic Island could disappear, replaced by a small punch‑hole camera and under‑display Face ID. This would give the screen a cleaner, nearly all‑display look, the biggest front redesign in years.
While the Dynamic Island has been a key iPhone feature for notifications and alerts, Apple seems ready to move toward a more minimal front design. Some UI features of the island may remain in software form, even if the physical cutout is gone.
Dynamic Island is the small pill-shaped area at the top of iPhone Pro screens that shows live info like calls, music, and notifications. It changes size dynamically and can be tapped to control apps, turning the top of your iPhone into an interactive mini-dashboard.
