One of the main reasons I buy Apple devices is their excessively long support. Gives them a real long lifetime when I pass them onto family etc

Our iPhone 11 pro (handed down to a family member) is still going strong and it is interesting that the iPhone 11 for example was released in 2019 and is fully supported until 2026 – love that length of support (7 years) for a mobile device with updates. ![]()
Only the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra and Pixel 8 series receive similar support timelines and is a recent change in Androids support policy which was 4 years typically.
We will have to wait and see if Android support the Galaxy S25’s also with 7 years of updates ?
