If you are thinking that great iPhone bargain on Ebay you just brought is actually a Chinese made iPhone, then there is a couple of ways to check.
Note: Apple iPhones are made for the Chinese market and are genuine, but are slightly different from UK/EU iPhones variants.
- Try to type the Taiwanese flag emoji, Chinese iPhones will not display the Taiwanese flag.

- Chinese iPhones have No esim, the Chinese region model used dual physical sim
- Wi-Fi is called WLAN
Even if iPhone is from China (not fake iPhones), the iPhone should still work with calls and use SMS etc.
