My computer was hacked by someone and not able to login in the device with my initial password. I suspected the hacker changed my password so I need to get it back. How can I reset forgotten password on Windows 10?

Hopefully you set a security question/pin when you created the account originally, if you did then just

To Reset your Windows 10 local account password:

• Select the Reset password link on the sign-in screen. If you use a PIN instead, see PIN sign-in issues.
• Answer your security questions.
• Enter a new password.
• Sign in as usual with the new password.

it is a local account password, so the above method does not work in my case

As i did before,the Windows password can be reset by Windows password reset disk,do you have a password reset disk? It can solve your problem quickly,you just need to plug it into your computer,after the computer reboot,it will reset Windows 10 password for you.

A good idea for resetting Windows 10 password,don’t reinstall Windows 10,that is a disaster.
