Finally decided to remove all the cracking cement pointing around our roofs lead flashing and use a more modern lead flashing sealant alternative, One of those jobs I have been putting of for years but finally decided to tackle.
I chose the Everbuild Everflex Lead Mate Sealant which uses Neutral Cure and thought lots of positive reviews and looks idea.
Had fun applying the Everbuild Everflex Lead Mate Sealant as its extremly tacky and a heavy duty caulking gun was needed to dispense the LeadMate sealant.
Only negatives so far is that I had to use plenty of water to help smooth down the sealant to achieve a reasonable finish and I am just a little concerned that after two days the sealant still feels tacky.
I will give it a couple of weeks to see if the LeadMate sealant pointing firms up a little, whilst still remaining flexible.
