    Hi,

So I found several websites offering discounts, I went with one of them but after signing up, it hasn’t applied the discount so I’m currently on the 14 day trial and I’ve not supplied any payment info yet.

I’ve contacted them regarding this and hoping I can get the discount applied as they all said it was a June offer, no actual expiry date so I presumed was end of June so waiting to hear back.

Not added any info yet, just trying to see best way to do it as I see I can create new Vaults so I’m wondering whether to try group my info into categories as opposed to one long list as it may make it easier to manage going forward and find if ever need to update/change the info.

Vaults are a great way of managing your password lists, especially if you share passwords with others, as you can then just share one or two vaults and keep the others offline (not shared) but more business oriented maybe ?

Yeah, by default, on the family plan they give you a shared vault so you can simply put anyting in it that you want to share with all members.  Alternatively you can create your own vault and share with only certain people if you choose.  I will probably just use the share vault to put shared stuff in, wont be much but will be handy.

I’m considering creating vaults to group things together i.e say shops, forums, bills, financial etc (not that i will store banking info etc)

Also, after an initial response, I’ve had nothing since so hopefully will get something later today but i suspect they are US based so not likely to hear back till this afternoon.

So got replies from them so think all should be sorted now hopefully. Not getting the discount I thought I was getting but would take too long to find an equivalent discount code so I’m getting a smaller discount.  However, weirdly, the discount will be applied BUT doesn’t show on the payment page, it will be applied once i provide payment details & subscribe, it shows on the invoice.

So going to try out inviting family member to it and then sharing some info.

I’m going through atm trying to decide on what Vaults to create and what to place in them.  Then just need to work out will it check all vaults for a password when I visit a site or just the shared and private one?

I like the idea of creating different vaults for different things so that its easier to find/update etc as required rather than one long list in the Private vault.

Shared vault I don’t think will be a big issue as not anticipating there being loads of stuff to share.  This may grow over time so will see.

Just try to keep it simple (KIS)

Yeah, i could keep them all in Personal and Shared BUT if it means having to scroll through loads t find the one i want to update/change etc, whereas creating different vaults will be easier to locate and also reduce the number of entries to go through is what I’m thinking so might be worth taking a bit of time now to work out Vault names for storing groups of things together like keep all bills that I get in 1 vault for example.  That way i know to go to that one to update any relating info.

Got some other link like checking state pension etc, don’t think I’ll keep that in the password manager, prob keep that separate and type type it in what I do need to use it as it’s not something I do all the time and not sure whether to keep in password manager or not atm, still deciding.
