I was saddened but totally understand to read that RMerlin, the Lead developer of the third party alternative firmware for Asus routers called ASUSWRT-Merlin has official stopped supporting all devices that were still on the 386_x firmware and older.

This does mean ASUSWRT-Merlin no longer provides support for the below ASUS Router models.

    These include:

    • RT-AC66U
    • RT-AC56U
    • RT-AC87U
    • RT-AC3200
    • RT-AC66U_B1
    • RT-AC68U (all versions and revisions)
    • RT-AC68P
    • RT-AC68UF
    • RT-AC1900
    • RT-AC1900P
    • RT-AC88U
    • RT-AC3100
    • RT-AC5300
    • RT-AC86U
    • RT-AC2900
    • GT-AC2900
    • RT-AX56U
