If your Pixel 5 screen lights up every time you tap it or lift it, you can disable those features with a few quick steps:

✅ Turn Off Tap to Wake:

1. Open Settings.

2. Tap Display.

3. Select Lock screen.

4. Turn off Tap to check phone.

 

✅ Turn Off Lift to Wake (optional):

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap Display.

3. Choose Lock screen.

4. Turn off Lift to check phone.

Disabling these options will stop the screen from turning on when you touch or move the phone.
