So ASUS have contacted me this morning and please see below in reference to ‘lcp-echo-adaptive’

only DSL-AC68U and DSL-AX82U support this option but not other DSL models.
All RT models supports lcp-echo-adaptive .
This option would be supported at the next release of DSL models.

We got there in the end and glad the ‘lcp-echo-adaptive’ option will be available on all ASUS DSL models going forward
