Hi, what do you mean by wifi died? I had a manufacture date of 2018 and the 2.4GHz chip died, now have a 2017.
Back in around August 2017 the 5GHz wifi suddenly stopped working for me. I was asked by Paul Lee from Asus to provide logs. It was determined that the wifi chip had died. Due to all the firmware bugs at the time, rather than just get another replacement I decided to return it for a refund.
