Machine still complaining of overheating in bay 2
A servers engineers life is never easy, Also look at page 64 or attached manual and make sure fan is connected correctly and able to rotate, as I have had loads of issues with fans in my younger days.
Maybe also worth running through the HP Active Health System Viewer (or simular) to see if the fan is working as it should be.
Does the HP Microserver Gen 10 Plus have an air baffle or blank ?
