Hi,

So slightly odd. the box didn’t connect again so I did the usual change of port and all is well again.

So now scenario is gigaset box is set to use different ports to that I specifically allowed on router firewall (thinking this was causing a issue).

However, it appears it is not the firewall as the issue occurred again so this time I powered off the gigaset box, waited couple seconds, powered it back on and its then registered all is ok.

So for some reason, it would appear gigaset box boots up before router and only tries once to register with provider and then stops as when power cycled, it registers fine as router is already up and working.

Gigaset is hardwired to the router also so not like wifi is a issue or anything.

But thankfully, its is a easy fix and it looks like I can do away with my router firewall rule as not required.
