Is there any issue with setting anything lower than what most people recommend for QoS? e.g. 95% of that is roughly 42 but would it be ok being conservative with say 41? About 9 for upload?
Glad the DSL-AX82u seems to be working well for yourself, balancing router setting up and family life (wifi downtime) is always a struggle.
For QoS, I set mine so that it is 10% below my max internet speed, this stops any buffering/congestion at the exchange etc.
What’s the wifi signal strength like, is it reaching all part of you house ?
Yes, for loading the @GNUton (RMerlin) firmware, just download the latest .w file and perform a manual upload, once upload has finished, reboot router and you should be good to go ![]()
