Never used anything like this.  I think the draytek routers have a option of a backup if your main line goes down and I saw some USB Dongles you could plug in to give x amount of data for a year or similar.

it was ones that you buy outright and done, as opposed to pay a monthly fee for.

I’m router hasn’t locked up since my last episode with it so I’m hoping it was a one off and hence not ventured down this path any further.
