Who you planning to go to, out of curiosity?
We recently left BT and they charged us £8 and it was only a few days left on the contract as it ran out early Sept and we switched end of Aug so only a few days, wasn’t expecting them to charge as we had given them notice at beginning of Aug (via provider we switched to) so was hoping of 0 charge due to it only being few days but appears not.
