Often loss on cables is greater than antenna gain (depending on length and quality compared to antenna gain).

Better to position router directly behind window on the right side and use a repeater (with LAN backhaul) for your home.

I acknowledge these things. It’s a good point that there comes signal loss especially with a long cable. This Fritz!Box replaced a Huawei B818-263 4G which failed to keep the 4G up without the same Outdoor antenna. And with the antenna the speed was still horrible. That Huawei was piece of sh!%. It’s the worst 4G modem I’ve ever installed to anyone. I hear it being good for those who actually have a strong signal out there.

The only place for the modem router is behing a huge balcony. It’s there where there is ethernet socket to route the Network/Internet to two floors under. To those floors the WLAN signal is really weak with any device from the top floor how ever the antennas are positioned.

The 4G dipole antenna will not increase or decrease 5G wireless strength, but should enable better connection to a mobile network giving you a faster, more reliable connection.

Yes, good points. That’s how I was thinking it could be.
