Hi all,

Had a email recently from BT saying they know my contract isn’t up yet but they have some deals and I can renew now.. So clicked the link and…. the price is more than I’m paying now for the same speed etc.

I already know PlusNet are cheaper for like for like speed so just going to wait till my contract ends and then probably move ISPs unless BT offer something better or an alternative ISP shows promise.

I was going to go with a new local supplier BUT they have had a few issues and are now being bought out so think I’ll give them a miss, shame as the price was cheaper than BT and PlusNet and slightly faster speeds with the bonus being the same upload and download speeds but not worth the risk as looks like they are changing what they are offering going forward so not likely to keep those prices. So looking more like PlusNet will gain my business at present as price is cheaper than BT plus I can ditch my landline so wont be paying the £220ish a year for the line :)

Have you looked at your broadband @UK Sentinel? I recall you saying yours ran out in Dec 2023 and can switch in last 3 months so wondered if you have indeed done that yet or just looking into it?
