Hi all,
So I have 1 issue with my new phone – I’m unable to add an email account via Exchange mail as I have activesync set on my mailbox and hence emaisl are pushed to me so i know when i get the email as opposed to manually openign the app and refreshing etc,
When i add an account I choose:-
Exchange
it asked for my email & descrption, enter it in.
I then get a pop up message configure manually or signin.
Choosing configure manually, it disappears after couple of seconds and takes me back the Add account options i.e icloud, exchange, yahoo, aol etc
If o choose sign in, it says verifying… for a short time then goes back to Add Accounts.
It wont bring up the next page asking me to fill in pswd, domain etc etc which I believe it is supposed to.
I’ve contacted my provider and they say as I am not getting to the next screen, it is not even trying to contact them to setup the mail on the phone so looks to be a IOS 17 issue I presume?
I can setup via IMAP but its not doing the push, i have to manually keep checking…
Anyone have any ideas or seen this as a issue so far?
My only other option is to setup a different email client on the phone but was hoping to use the mail app built in as have done previously.
