Welcome, Yes you are correct, the ASUS DSL-AC88U does not support VLAN ID when in Bridge mode.
But as you are using the ASUS GT BE98 try setting VLAN ID as per below details from a LAN/WAN connection setting via IPTV, never tried this myself so will be an interesting test
(Try Internet option)
Hopefully your ASUS GT BE98 has the IPTV tab, the ASUS GT BE98 is a new release router so firmware maybe not be fully mature yet ?
