So I switched the modem back to PPPoE and now connecting to my modem via the router with Automatic IP setting. I’ll wait for some comments and other suggestions to try. Also I applied for Fiber Internet. I think they’ll bring the Fiber modem in a few days and I’ll get rid of the AC88U modem and use the Fiber. I hope my bridge connection attempts go better with a newer Fiber modem.

I’m also attaching the system log of my router. I don’t know if there is any clue why I couldn’t get the Wan IP. The recent ones (with the dates 6 Feb) should be the ones after I switched the modem back to PPPoE and connected the router with Automatic IP mode.
