I have checked with ASUS, apparently they have had some bad weather recently hence delay in reply.
Alas no beta firmwares for the DSL-AC51 and ASUS have ‘No plans to release firmware at this time’.
But DSL-AC51 is not EoL, so a positive in that respect.
