No, because usually you cant use fiber-modems in Austria directly and have to take ONT from provider. There are some smaller fiber-networks where it is different (XGS-)PON and AON.
Technically it could work, but they are registred with their ID (not only MAC) and so your own ONT oder modem won’t work.

I personally dont see any advantage using fiber-modems, ONT needs only <3W power which fiber modems would take more than a WLAN-router.
ONT is changed by provider if defective, so cheaper as well and more modular. You can use any own router or the one from provider if you have no need for better ones.

I can only tell you, that an SFP-module has to be supported by router interface and you cant use the XGS-PON module from AVM on the new 5690pro fiber modem (only simple PON or AON module will work and XGS-PON module will work with comming 5690XGS only).
