Hi
Besides the many issues that haunt me with my DSL-AC88U router I know have more issues
Yesterday and Thursday had issues with no 2.4G & slow intermittent 5G WiFi
I powered off the router on Thursday for a few hours and when powering back on all was OK again
When I got home Friday, I had the same issues as Thursday
I tried resetting, then different FW’s, defaulting etc… but still no 2.4G
What I noticed was the box seemed to be running hot
I noticed that the temperature was
2.4GÂ Â Â 72C
5GÂ Â Â Â 96C
CPUÂ Â Â 59C
Again I powered off overnight and today it is OK again
Temps today are currently the below and I have no issues
2.4GÂ Â Â 59C
5GÂ Â Â Â 73C
CPUÂ Â Â 50C
I have the router sat on top of my NAS which is where it has been for the past 5 months
The NAS is a very cool running box, i.e HDD’s are 30C
I have a Hardware Version: A1 router and just wondering if there were design/overheating issues with this model and has anyone else seen temperature issues affecting WiFi
Cheers
