I was pleasantly surprised to see this update, as I was not certain that we would receive another one.

It has been 10 months since I switched my ZenWiFi AX setup to AP mode and put them behind a Mikrotik firewall. Everything has been working well, and at this point, it is hard to imagine replacing them anytime soon.
