Very theatrical of you
, I have my various routers set for a once a month scheduled reboot just to reduce any possible issues with memory etc.
In reality, you should never need to reboot if code was good, but in reality ‘for myself’ once a month reboot stops any unplanned slowdowns / wifi dropouts etc.
My older RT-AC86U was prone to the 2.4 GHz wifi dropping (issue with heat pads during manufacture I think) so I set that to a weekly reboot and 2.4 GHz wifi dropouts occurred no more.
It becomes more interesting if you are using multiple AiMesh nodes.
