Absolutely, definitely sounds like your current Michelin tyre inflator is becoming unreliable and needs replacement.
Our family consists of four private cars and I tend to use a separate tyre pressure measuring gauge just to check tyre pressures and then get out the Air pump if needed.
The tyre pressure gauge is a little old but does have a handy feature to release air if you have over done it with the tyre Air inflator.
Most Digital tyre inflators go to a minimal of 1 bar (15 psi) so nothing to worry about in reality in terms of tyre pressures inflation rates, but definitely worth while keeping an eye on the rear tyre that keeps loosing pressure as this may be due to a faulty valve or nail in tyre etc.
