Rumours Only!
After discontinuing Windows Phone, Microsoft shifted its focus to software and services for mobile platforms like Android and iOS. They introduced the Surface Duo, a dual-screen Android device, as an attempt to stay in the mobile hardware space. However, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella later expressed regret over abandoning Windows Phone, acknowledging that they could have reinvented the category between PCs, tablets, and phones.
There have been rumours that Microsoft might re-enter the smartphone market, potentially with a device running a full version of Windows optimized for mobile. Some concept designs even imagine a Windows Phone running Windows 12, resembling a micro-PC in your pocket. However, Microsoft has not officially announced any plans to revive Windows Phone.
