smart hub 2 , I cant for the life of me get going in bridge mode, albeit some claim to have got it working , its definitely not supported fully, the closest i saw was this ; https://community.bt.com/t5/Home-setup-Wi-Fi-network/Smart-Hub-2-as-a-Modem/td-p/1922978
yeah i found the same as you, the Huawei MT992 i found a few on ebay but closer to ÂŁ250-300 and i know i paid a bit for the asus but (!), the Zyxel and Zisa are both alibaba jobs and dont really seem to be in stock one you dive into it unless you want to buy 500 of em.
Draytek 166 from all i read was meant to be released q4 this year but not heard anything about it
