So I have had the ASUS RT-BE92U plugged in for 30 days and only have noticed 2 issues, the first is that certain wifi devices (apple) connected at range (weak signal) lose access to the internet for a few seconds at random interviews and then this repeats a few minuites later, especially my iPhone 16 Pro when I’m at one end of the house streaming music etc.

Logs below does seem to show a weak signal caused a brief disconnect from internet and then re-establishes itself back to a stronger signal even though device does not move. This appears to be a general broadcom / band-steering issue and/or Wi‑Fi fading due to inactivity and power save interaction with iPhone and other wifi devices.

The second issue I’ve noticed is AP Isolation or Guest Network isolation doesn’t work as expected, including situations where devices on a guest SSID are still able to “see” or communicate with each other and with main network devices.

I can adjust Channel bandwidth etc. to improve connectivity but hopefully something ASUS and Broadcom can improve upon over time and it will be interesting to see if they do, alas I am running ASUSWRT-Merlin (3006.102.6) so cannot send feedback to ASUS currently.

FWIW: I have not had this issue with previous ASUS routers.
