Yes, in essence,

1. Disconnect the Eero completely

Unplug its Ethernet from the ONT.

2. Connect the ASUS to the ONT

  • ONT β†’ ASUS WAN port (blue port)

3. Connect your laptop to the ASUS Router

Use Ethernet into any LAN port (yellow ports). (Wi‑Fi also works, but Ethernet is safer during setup.)

4. Open your browser and go to:

192.168.50.1 This works without internet, it’s the router’s local address.
