I think my issue is regardless the VPN provider. In ‘Import .ovpn file’, when I click ‘choose file’ and select a OVPN file from the provider nothing happens. I have sent feedback to Asus. Not holding my breath to receive a response.
I am running express VPN via my Netgear XR500 so may swap them over for the DSL-AC88U and see if I have the same issues
