If under WAN > Internet Connection > Transfer Mode / Ethernet WAN (or WAN) I forget which it is for the DSL-AC88U
And set WAN Connection Type is PPPoE and on the bottom of that page you enter ISP Account username and password details
If you have done this, then this does sound like another feature on the DSL-AC88U that does not work ?
