If you could run a CAT5e or better upstairs you should think about mesh solution. Works very well with AVM. You dont need a second 7590, a cheap 7530 would be fine there or a mesh repeater.
No need for my setup with 4x 7590 one in each floor (and neighbour), got them cheap used for 130-140€ each.
While still lot of problems with Asus Aimesh reported and you wont get guest SSID on nodes with them.
Don’t really want to run extra cables, just thinking loud in general and wondering if 7590 will be at least as good as rt-ac68u with wifi, if will provide stable vdsl connection on the top of that then I may start sleeping properly 😁
